WHY I CHOSE TO WORK FROM HOME   by Kanna

There are many reasons why I chose to work from home. In my particular situation, I am working a full time position while raising two school age children. As a civil service employee, the prospect of working an additional 30 years just to get a decent pension is not very appealing to me. For many, it is like working in a coal mine; at some point you are going to get sick of it. That has not come yet, but it not a future that I choose to embrace.
Basically, I started it as a way to supplement my current income. You know, just to have a few dollars for myself or to pay some bills. What started out actually as a whim has turned out to be my very own business on the side. The fact that I can make my own hours and work around my schedule at my leisure has been very rewarding.
