If you have decided that you need to improve your skin care program, no matter if your skin is oily or dry or in-between, then you have made a sound decision. If you have oily skin, we know how the special challenges you face every day. Your skin care needs to be very basic. And what does that mean? Your skin will simply go into hyper drive and produce even more oil to replace what has been lost, which undoes all of your efforts. Buying natural and gentle cleansing pads to keep on you when you go out is also a good idea.
Many people do not always think about things other than cleansing and moisturizing. However, there is another facet to skin care which is exfoliation. Your skin will have a glowing beautiful look to it after you complete this removal of dead skin cells from your face. If you aren’t doing this regularly your pores can be becoming blocked which can lead to acne issues. We always recommend using natural exfoliating products to minimize any skin damage.
Dry skin typically means sensitive skin too. You will need to take extra precautions with this skin type because you have to avoid letting your skin become too dry. During the winter you may need to be extra vigilant and use a good moisturizer while avoiding commercial products full of harmful chemicals. There are many natural and safe alternatives to commercial products that tend to use petroleum based products that you shouldn’t put on your face.
Good skin care is imperative no matter what kind of skin you have because All Skin is susceptible to damage. If you don’t know what your skin type is, ask a qualified beautician to give you an expert opinion. The beautician can help you put together a good skin care routine but look out for marketing schemes and up-sells that you do not need. Once you have everything figured about, then you may need to try different products to see what works best.
